As spring approaches I notice some of the trees are still trying to hold onto a few leaves from last year. It makes me think they are trying their best to stay warm during the chilly winter months. This spring as the trees bud out the broken leaves of last year will finally drop and the wind will take them away. I have captured their memory and fashioned a pair of earrings. These earrings dangle to mimic the movement of the leaves blowing in the wind.
