However, while I was writing this I naturally started thinking about what my personal mission statement would say. I did a little research and found this is not a new idea. What I did find was this:<br /><br />A personal mission statement can give you clarity and guidelines about who you are and how you live your life. It can help you define your reason for existence and having a personal mission statement can help you avoid wandering through the world without having a sense of purpose.<br /><br />Crafting you own mission statement can be easier than you think. There is no right or wrong way to write it. It is about you and it will be as unique as you are. It can be a poem, a list, one sentence or a page. If you are still a little foggy about how to get started, I will list some ideas to get your thought process going.<br /><br />What is your passion?<br />What are your values?<br />What would you want people to say your accomplishments were once you have come to the end of your life?<br /><br />I will give you an example from a part of my personal mission statement. My passion is creating. I wake up every day thinking about what I can make. It is my gift and my way of connecting with God. Therefore, I have stated in my mission statement that every day I will create. What I create can be most anything from making bread to the smallest sketch in my sketch book to building a kitchen table.
